 One-layered invagination pancreatogastrostomy

  1. A gastrotomy with a size similar to the diameter of the pancreas is made in the posterior wall of the stomach.
  2. The pancreatic remnant is invaginated into the gastric lumen for 1-3 cm.
  3. The pancreas is fixed to the posterior gastric wall with a single layer of (inverting) sutures, circumferentially placed between the pancreatic parenchyma and the posterior gastric wall.
